The Eternal Alcazar: The Revival of a Saint Germain des Prés Institution

Some places defy time. Is it because they bear the imprint of those who imagined them?

Or because they offer the ideal setting to break free from constraints and defy rules? Perhaps all of the above.

Located on Rue Mazarine, in the heart of Paris's very chic 6th arrondissement, L'Alcazar is one such place. A true temple of music hall, this cabaret has always captured the spirit of its era, thus forging its worldwide reputation.

Today, the story continues.

With its upcoming opening, L'Alcazar will reveal itself as the essential refuge for free spirits.

Under the impetus of Walter Butler, L'Alcazar thus rediscovers its calling as a place for celebration, encounters, and social gatherings. More than a rebirth, the project asserts the ambition to restore to Paris one of its great nocturnal settings, with a contemporary, joyful, immersive, and intensely vibrant interpretation.

Casita: facing the sea, a new spot opens on Pampelonne beach.

Designed as a beachfront haven, Casita will be the perfect spot to enjoy lunch, dinner, slow down, and soak up the sun, from morning until sunset.

On the beachfront, Casita reveals a decor with bohemian touches, made of light wood, natural materials, and sandy tones.

Comfortable single or double beds, attentive service, and a musical ambiance chill create a setting designed for the joy of unplugging. Time slows down, in a calmer yet always deeply radiant atmosphere.

From the kitchen of Chef Zouhair, also at the helm at Casa Amor, Casita's kitchen offers exceptional dishes that celebrate premium ingredients and sharing.

Highlights include the sea bass tartare with red berries, clam linguine, and the roasted langoustines with ginger and lemongrass.

Detox juices freshly squeezed, invigorating citrus cocktails, and specialty coffees with plant-based milks round out the experience, with a focus on lightness and wellness.

Balcon: The New Bistro at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann with Julien Sebbag

After 5 years of Créatures, welcome Balcon!

The new bistro perched on the rooftop of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, offering a fresh and cool vision, still by Chef Julien Sebbag. The idea was born from the encounter between the Chef's culinary audacity and the inspiration of the location: a breathtaking view, a rarity in Paris.

A name that was an obvious choice and a touch of humor: a balcony open to the sky, shining a spotlight on Parisian monuments.

Make no mistake — this name, a nod to the small, typically Parisian zinc and wrought-iron balcony — will unveil a restaurant on the large rooftop terrace of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann and will introduce a brand new concept. A declaration of love for the French bistro, featuring the beloved dishes from the capital's brasseries, with a signature twist that only the chef knows how to create.
